Volta: a rhetorical shift or turn. Often obscured until the very end, when everything coalesces to new understanding.
Wren arrives at the Mariposa Hotel looking for her sister Lottie, but the hotel bends and morphs and keeps them apart. Doors open to the present, museums show the past, and phone booths are there to call home. A physical, clown-ish meditation on what we leave behind when we move on.
