Philly Improv Theater (2018-present)
Drawing from her physical theater and improvisation background, Tenara teaches adults and children the foundational skills of performance and improv comedy.
Elementary Edge (2022-present)
Tenara tutors grades K-12, focusing on reading comprehension, essay writing, and grammar.
Ivy League Advisors (2022-present)
Working one-on-one, Tenara mentors high school juniors and seniors abroad looking to expand their academic opportunities in American universities. Tenara works with her students on the intimidating Common App personal statement, and on building a solid, impressive, and competitive college application.
The Barnes Foundation (2020-2022)
Bringing to life Dr. Barnes’ commitment to art for everyone, Tenara worked with community partners and other Barnes staff to create interactive creative experiences focusing on an intergenerational family unit, and art as healing.
Trinity Repertory Company (2015-2018)
Working in the Education department, Tenara taught dramaturgy, scene study, and theater for social change (with an emphasis on satire and Theatre of the Oppressed). Her students ranged from elementary school to high school.
